Flamingo Hill Camp is a beautiful tented camp ideally situated just outside the main gate to Nakuru national park, about half a mile up a small track - however it is counted as inside the park for the purpose of the park entry fees, so you get free re-entry during each 24 hour period (which is not the case for other lodges situated outside the park.
The tents are large and beautifully laid out and furnished, and have 24 hour power sockets, as unlike other remote camps which rely on generators and have the power only for certain hours, this is connected to the national grid at Nakuru.
We loved our stay there, lovely food, excellent showers and a beautiful setting, especially sitting near the pool watching the sun go down with a cocktail - just superb.
