Ngutuni Lodge is situated in it’s own private game sanctuary, just outside Tsavo East, and only about 20 minutes drive from Voi gate.   You can sit on your private balcony, or in the restaurant area and view the animals at the water hole right in front of you.  

When we stayed there water buck (with their distinctive “toilet seat” rumps!), giraffe, zebra and warthog all visited the water hole right in front of us whilst we were eating our lunch, and some lion were out there too, but further away so you needed binoculars, but it was really exciting.   In the evening after dark four lions actually walked right past the waterhole, and also saw a couple of huge elephants.
